Traditional Japanese experience and friendly staff. the hotel offers a true Japanese experience complete with tatami rooms and yukata. the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, providing helpful information even with limited English. the location offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji and is within walking distance to the nearby lake.
Limited accessibility. the hotel is located on a main road with no sidewalks, making it difficult to get around without a car.

We had an amazing stay in the woods, with a great view of Mount Fuji. the hotel is perfect if you want to try traditional Japanese culture, with Japanese style rooms and a traditional bath supplied by the hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful and the dinner hall served up delicious seafood-based meals. It was great to have the lake within walking distance, and the fresh air was amazing.
The hotel's location made it difficult to get to the lake without a car and the wifi was unreliable.

Great food and amazing traditional Japanese experience. The room was very spacious and clean, with comfy futon mattresses to sleep on. The hotel had a beautiful hot bath that I enjoyed every day. The hotel is situated in a great location, surrounded by tall trees and mountains, which created a peaceful and relaxing environment. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The location is quite remote from shops and restaurants, so it's not easy to find alternative dining options. The hotel is also located far from public transportation, which makes it difficult to explore the nearby areas or visit other destinations.

The hotel had a stunning location with a picturesque view of a mountain. It was also very clean and had good facilities like a complimentary shuttle to the nearby bus terminal. Additionally, the nearby lake was within walking distance for sunrise photos.
There was nothing I didn't like.
